H.R.2443 – Department of Homeland Security Classified Facility Inventory Act

Brief

HR 2443 would ‘require an inventory of all facilities certified by the Department of Homeland Security to host infrastructure or systems classified above the Secret level, and for other purposes.’

To that end The Secretary of Homeland Security, acting through the Chief Security Officer of the Department of Homeland Security, shall maintain an inventory of all facilities certified by the Department to host infrastructure or systems classified above the Secret level; and update such inventory on a regular basis.

The inventory must include the location of such facilities, an identification of the entities operating such facilities, and date of establishment of such facilities.
