H.R.2182 To amend the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to provide for enhanced State and local oversight of activities conducted pursuant to such Act, and for other purposes.
The bill moves to empower State and local agencies to oversight of the Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 funds through data collection, auditing, contract and grant planning and management and investigations of waste, fraud and abuse.
States may have access to the General Services Administration supply list for goods and services that are funded by the Act. States may use vendors on the list or may not.
